I had a full weekend taking the Acting Business Boot Camp. Boot Camp it was. At first I didn’t wanted to do the “group” thing but take one on one’s with certified Life Coach Peter Pamela Rose. However, it seemed more cost effective to take the intensive weekend. Now, I just wished I would have taken it when I first heard about PPR as it would have saved me money.
Not only did I get a great rundown on the business and names of great contacts, I found something else just as important. I have often heard one of the most important things for an actor is to have a support group. Well, I feel I now have one. I meet other actors that I will continue to share with and offer each other support. No negative energy or cattiness only lot’s of laughter. We felt comfortable opening up and soaked in all of Peter’s knowledge. I woke up on Monday with renewed energy to pursue my craft.
This renewed energy I think will also translate into my blog. I hope to start another series of my Good Morning Video’s so be on the look out. I hope to pass along some of the positive vibes.
Here is a video from Peter as she talks about visualization.
Congrats to my friend Ricardo!!!! Great Interview and I hope one day we get to work together again!

The best way to describe Ricardo Cordero is multi-talented. An actor, writer, producer, director, singer and dancer, Ricardo currently runs Global Network Pictures in NYC. I’ve had the pleasure of working with him a few years ago when I lived in NY and worked in theater. His presence on stage is commanding, he has a way of making you take notice and really brings the character to life. It is an absolute joy to watch him at work, in his element.
I have been involved with show business most of my life in many forms. I made my first television appearance at the age of 3 and my first stage appearance at the age of 4. I formed Global Network Pictures 13 years ago. Since then we have made 3 feature films and many commercials.

This comment from my acting web site touched me so I wanted to share it. I would love to work with someone who say’s “so I want to discover the unlimited potential of the human spirit.”
The human spirit is limitless beyond our conception….
Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight, or any experience that reveals the human spirit.
e. e. cummings
There are no constraints on the human mind, no walls around the human spirit, no barriers to our progress except those we ourselves erect.
Hi Kara, yes, I did look at your site, and found it quite compelling and lovely. Easy on the eyes, which is nice. You have, as I mentioned, an intensity that could be the fuel for all sorts of characters, from fiends to friends. You have the ability to use your eyes to beam energy. I suspect that your entire body is a force of nature (which I mean to include much more than just earthly nature), and which commands a sort of respect that is not common in one so youthful. I will definitely keep you in mind for a future episode. The series is called “Shep’s Flock,” and some characters make several appearances over time. It will be early next year before I could have another female protagonist, but it would be fun and challenging to find something that really tapped into your abilities and stretched you as an actor. Just as the evil Dr. Moreau wanted to discover “the limits of the plasticity of the flesh,” so I want to discover the unlimited potential of the human spirit. I am confident you could be a significant part of this exploration. Many blessings to you as we each live our dreams, in whatever form (sometimes, nightmares; other times, mother’s comforting bedtime stories). May the light guide you to the right connections. Time is your ally, not your enemy, as many talented people mistakenly believe. Maybe for them time is an enemy, but not for you. Goodnight, and good peace. -Russell Clay, Pigeon Media, New York City
